Rhonda Ray, CEO of R Squared Multimedia, LLC, has more than 10 years of experience both in front of and behind the television camera. She received her Bachelor of Science from Troy University where she double majored in Advertising & Journalism.
She was immediately hired by WKRG-TV5 out of Mobile, Alabama where she worked for a short time as an Associate Producer before being promoted to the position of Reporter for the Florida Bureau.
Although it has always been her goal to work in television as an on-air personality, she had developed a passion for the boundless creative opportunities offered by the unglamorous and often underrated behind the scenes work.
After two and a half years, Rhonda left the station to take a position as Public Information Officer with the Escambia Sheriff's Office in Pensacola. Eventually, her previous television experience led her to become the producer, videographer, and host of the weekly cable television show “Wanted Fugitives”. During this time, she also performed freelance commercial on-air work for various businesses.
In 2006, she attended Final Cut Pro editing school in Los Angeles, California. There, she learned from professionals in the movie-making industry how to create quality video productions, using some of the same equipment and software preferred by Hollywood's top movie producers.
It was then she decided to launch her own business and put her skills to work helping other businesses get their message out to their targeted audiences.
She has since expanded that business to include special events and various other types of video production.
